*New feature* "ebuddy"
I have now successfully added a messaging signin box to my blog, courtesy of ebuddy. In the right-hand side bar right below the "Links of Interest" you will see a login box. Click on the icon for MSN messenger, Yahoo messenger, or AOL messenger (AIM) and type your ID and password as you normally would. Now you can sign on from any computer anywhere without needing the privelages or time to install another messaging program on the computer that you happen to be at. For those of us like me, that will be especially useful when we are at "work" at the BOE when classes are cancelled or something. Nothing to do, but we don't have any permissions on the computer so we can't even switch the default printer. Now we can sign in and IM our families back home or the other JETs in other cities in Japan who are also being underutilized. ;) Hope someone else finds this useful! Enjoy!

I did! That looks great! Seems to be pretty young, though. Not that that's a bad thing, just that is may still have a few bugs. But it seems to work well. I tried it pretty quickly and I must say it loaded slick and without advertisements that I could find. Does it have a way to incorporate it into your website? (other than html-ing in a frame to koolim.com ;) ) If it did I'd switch the one on this blog.
I also like the fact that it appears to be made by real people. The photos in the "About" section make me feel like I'm dealing with people like me, not a company.

If you have nothing constructive to say don't post here. Spamming my blog will not be tolerated, but if you actually have something interesting to say about koolim, I'm listening. (But I already "checked it out" so don't post the same thing over and over, sending it to my subscribers. Or I'll have to moderate. And if so the koolim URL will be the first thing that I block. Then nobody will be able to talk about it. )
